Minimum Technical Requirements for BDPArobotics Academy

Computer/Device Requirements

Desktop/Laptop (Recommended):

• Windows 10+ or macOS 10.14+ or Linux Ubuntu 18.04+
• 4GB RAM minimum (8GB recommended)
• 2GB available storage space
• Intel i3 processor or equivalent

Tablet/Mobile:

• iOS 12+ or Android 8.0+
• 3GB RAM minimum
• Some features may be limited on mobile devices

Internet Connection

• Stable broadband internet (minimum 5 Mbps download)
• 10+ Mbps recommended for video streaming and virtual labs
• Unlimited data plan recommended

Browser Requirements

Supported Browsers:

• Chrome 90+ (Recommended)
• Firefox 88+
• Safari 14+
• Edge 90+

Browser Settings:

• JavaScript must be enabled
• Cookies must be enabled
• Pop-up blocker should allow bdparobotics.org

Software Requirements

For Virtual Robotics Labs:

• WebGL 2.0 support (most modern browsers)
• Hardware acceleration enabled
• Microphone access for voice commands (optional)
• Camera access for project presentations (optional)

Accessibility Features

• Screen reader compatible
• Keyboard navigation support
• Closed captions for all video content
• High contrast mode available
